Valley of Gangala
Unusual rock formations, giant caves and enchanted-looking trees make up the landscape of the seemingly preternatural Valley of Gangala. An undeniable ethereal aura fills the air, as its natural landmarks are defined by their connection with folklore. The caves of Gangala are believed to be inhabited by gods, and have been drawing the spiritual and superstitious to their enclaves for hundreds of years. To this day, people come here to pray for prosperity, relationships and health. It is believed that the first inhabitants of this historic land—known as the Minatogawa people—lived here some 18,000 years ago.
