NOVEMBER 16, 2009 - As part of its ongoing philanthropic partnership, DFS, along with its brand partners, continues to raise funds and visibility for The Smile Train, the world's leading cleft charity. Two recent promotions with in our leading airport stores have generated great success. The campaigns, with Patron in North America, and Brown Forman in Singapore, inspired transiting customers to purchase Patron Tequila and Gentleman Jack and Herradura respectively. With each purchase, a percentage of proceeds were generated to The Smile Train with DFS matching the total dollar amount. The promotions generated $22,000 USD for The Smile Train which will result in 88 surgeries for kids around the world. Both Patron and Brown Forman have long since been supporters of The Smile Train. With the opportunity to promote their product in our DFS stores, a true trinity has been formed, between brand, retailer, and philanthropy. DFS' efforts, along with Patron and Brown Forman, to support The Smile Train will continue.
