JUNE 25, 2012 - DFS Group, the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, will open its third downtown Galleria store in August 2012, at Hysan Place, in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay. This new location will be the Group’s first store on Hong Kong Island.

In 1960, DFS Group opened its first store in Hong Kong. Since then, DFS has defined the essence of a unique luxury shopping experience, successfully operating two large downtown stores in Hong Kong - Mody Road, since 1988 and Canton Road, since 1996.

For several years, DFS Group has been scouting locations in the bustling area of Causeway Bay, and is now proud to announce its new store in Hysan Development’s latest project: Hysan Place.

Located in the heart of Causeway Bay - one of Asia’s most traveled shopping destinations – the store will attract a unique mix of visitors and travelers from around the world. For that reason, DFS is introducing the Traveler’s Galleria, or simply - T Galleria, a name that emphasizes DFS Group’s thorough understanding of the global traveler’s needs by offering the finest luxury brands, impeccable service, and a seamless shopping experience.

Covering 34,000 square feet on two levels, T Galleria will feature a tailored selection from the world’s most renowned luxury brands in two categories – Prestige Beauty and Fine Watches & Jewelry.

Prestige Beauty: 18,000 square feet on the main floor will be dedicated to the world of beauty, presenting an impressive array of make-up, skincare and fragrances from more than 50 leading beauty brands. Individual skin consultations and on-the-spot beauty services will be performed by highly trained graduates of the DFS Professional Beauty School. In addition, the newly developed Beauty Lab will feature a collection of 10 unique beauty brands and original products, presented in an innovative way and staffed by a team of cross-brand trained beauty advisors.

Fine Watches & Jewelry: Customers will also find another 16,000 square feet of luxury with the latest editions from international watch and jewelry brands. The collection showcases 15 of the world’s most renowned brands.
