Renowned trumpet player Fabrizio Bosso takes the Venetian audience on a journey of Soul Jazz, Spiritual, and Gospel notes, accompanied by the heat, passion, and emotion of Walter Ricci’s heavenly voice. From Sam Cooke’s America of the 60’s to Harlem’s Dominican mass atmosphere, the sounds proposed, refer to a distant imaginary faithful to the real roots of Soul. The repertoire pays tribute to Black music, particularly to its Gospel and Spiritual genres. As the two years of performances attest, interpreting those sounds in their own personal and acute way has been the best musical path to follow for Fabrizio Bosso, Alberto Marsico, and Alessandro Minetto.
