Merchandising & Planning

The Merchandising & Planning team's wide world of responsibilities includes assortment planning and inventory tracking, brand negotiations and relations, product development, retail price management, promotional planning and overall achievement of financial objectives across all stores.

 

We ensure that a product arrives at the store and on the shelves the right way and at the right time.

We curate and manage DFS' five “Pillars of Luxury” - Beauty and Fragrance, Fashion and Accessories, Food and Gifts, Watches and Jewelry, and Wines and Spirits - to maximize our global stores' sales and profitability.

We forecast, order and allocate products to maximize productivity and gross margin.

We govern the planning, allocation and replenishment of our merchandise to optimize the business and stock inventory.
