The Building Instrument trio started playing in 2018 in Bergen, Norway, while exploring electronic music. Then, they concentrated on acoustic compositions, while continuing a tireless search for sounds and a style that could single out their origin and personality. Today, the trio has found their ideal genre within a territory that could be described as a no-man’s land.
Musicians: Mari Kvien Brunvoll (vocals, sampler, zither, percussion, kazoo), Øyvind Hegg-Lunde (drums and percussion) and Åsmund Weltzien (synthesizer, electronics, melodica).
