Lagavulin

Lagavulin, founded 1816 by John Johnston, is the biggest, richest and most intensely flavored of our Islay single malt Scotch whiskies. It is a name derived from the Gaelic Laggan Mhouillin, "hollow where the mill is." Situated beside the sea in a rocky bay overlooked by ruined Dunyvaig Castle, Lagavulin distillery has arguably the most romantic setting of any in Scotland.
