Longmorn

John Duff opened Longmorn Distillery in 1894 following an extensive career in whiskey production. The single malt he produced at Longmorn was immediately recognized for its exceptional quality and became highly prized by whiskey blenders. John Duff continued to run the distillery to great acclaim until 1909 when it passed into the hands of James Grant, whose family continued at the helm of the distillery until 1970.
