Johnnie Walker
Johnnie Walker is one of the most recognizable whisky names, and its popular variants include Red Label and Black Label. The brand originated from Scotland in the 19th century, where founder John Walker initially set up a wine and spirits store selling brandy, rum and gin. He began distilling selling his whiskies before his death, after which his son Alexander Walker took over and grew the brand into a global name. The brand’s signature square bottle was introduced along with the key piece of the brand’s imagery – the recognisable Striding Man logo of Johnnie Walker.
