New York City Maker's Mark Maker's Mark,Wine, Spirits & Beer
Dipped by hand.
Delicious by nature.
Just over 50 years ago, Kentucky Distiller Bill Samuele Snr set out to make a different type of Whisky. He discovered that by using red winter wheat when baking his bread the finished loaf was milder and gentler than rye. So he decided to try the same technique with whisky. Since the first bottle of Makers Mark was sold in 1958, each bottle is still hand-dipped with a red wax seal: still bears the same name and is still handmade by people, not machines.
