Château Lafite Rothschild is one of the most famous estates in the world, classified as a Premier Cru in 1855, and first among the great wines of the Médoc. The estate was purchased by Baron James de Rothschild in 1868 and is led today by Baron Eric de Rothschild. The wine's exceptional quality is a result of the rare harmony of nature for over a thousand seasons.
