Tasting Notes: The 2016 Ridge Monte Bello, a predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon red wine blend, is a wine of great significance, depth, complexity and aging potential. An opaque purple-ruby color in the glass. Ripe blackberry fruit, barrel spice, anise, violets, and crushed limestone. Opulent mountain fruit entry, firm acid, and fine-grain, age-worthy tannins. Powerful complexity and tremendous length to the finish.
