Amael leads the merchandising strategies for the Beauty and SWTFG categories. He joined DFS in 2020 as Vice President, Beauty in charge of Estée Lauder Companies, L'Oréal, European Beauty and Global Beauty Operations, after a 20-year career with L'Oréal. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, Beauty in 2021. His role was elevated to be part of DFS’ Senior Leadership Team in 2025.
