Samaritaine has lined up a host of activities to entice both young and old, and make the fun last until Christmas.

Christmas Groove

Santa Claus is looking a little younger this year! No more traditional get-up; at Samaritaine, he cuts an urban-looking figure. This is a modern-day Santa who can perform several different dances – so don't be surprised if you bump into him strutting his funky stuff in the aisles! Rest assured, he will still be performing his primary duties, including posing with your children to give them memories that will last a lifetime.

Flashback: A History of Dance

To get you inspired, the Centre Nationale de la Danse (French national center of dance) has filled the window displays on the Rue de la Monnaie with archive photos and footage tracing the evolution of different dances over time. And that's not all! The exhibition continues in the Flashback space on the 4th floor, displaying classic advertisements for Samaritaine. Stick to the beat as you work your way up the store.

A Dancefloor on Every Level

To get you on your feet, the store has partnered with Ubisoft and its legendary game Just Dance to install an interactive dance floor. Learn the moves to your favorite tracks! Put in the training so you can wow your family during Christmas dinner!

Nicely warmed up? Head to the 5th floor, next to the Voyage restaurant, for dance classes delivered by the Dancefloor Paris studio. For €33, learn a few jazz, classical or pop dance steps and enjoy a non-alcoholic cocktail. What's it all about? Moving, gaining confidence and having fun.
