From January 22nd to February 4th, 2025, the department store is celebrating the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake with a variety of events and self-care ideas.

Although the Lunar New Year takes place on January 29th, Samaritaine will be showcasing Asian culture for a full two weeks, as well as the symbolism of the snake, the traditional zodiac symbol for 2025.

Wisdom, transformation, renewal, and more... The Year of the Snake is full of promise! In collaboration with the China Tourism Office in Paris, Samaritaine invites you to a variety of events.

On January 25th, learn about the art of concentration with an outstanding calligraphy demonstration. You will leave with an artwork enhanced by a word in Chinese symbolizing happiness.
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m, ground floor, Historical Building

On February 1st, the art of celebration is showcased with a Dance of the Dragon that will enliven your shopping experience. Starting at Pont-Neuf, this performance winds its way to the Place de la Monnaie before entering the department store to complete its journey under the glass roof on the 5th floor. Performances at 11 a.m., 3 p.m and 5:30 p.m will thrill both young and old!

Then, from January 31st until February 2nd, explore the art of perseverance with an embroidery demonstration! A practice in which patience and attention to detail become creative virtues.

To immerse yourself even further, practice self-care and find harmony with a selection of the best Asian beauty brands! Florasis, along with brands such as K Beauty Anua, Beauty of Joseon, COSRX, Skin1004, RoundLab, TOCOBO, Mixsoon, Isntree, and TirTir, featuring innovative natural formulas, can be found at level -1 of the department store.
