TASAKI celebrates 70 years at Samaritaine

Oct 31,2024

The Japanese jewelry house chose Samaritaine to present the “Floating Shell” exhibition, featuring daring collaborations and a brand-new anniversary collection.

Thanks to its unique craftsmanship and unrivaled expertise in pearls and diamonds, TASAKI reigns supreme in the world of jewelry, with a strong sense of design and innovation.

Its “balance” and “danger” collections embody the House's creative vision, with graphic, singular, stackable lines that are veritable objets d'art.

An iconic collection revisited

TASAKI’s 70th anniversary is an opportunity to discover its universe in the “Floating Shell” exhibition at Samaritaine! The “balance” collection has been reimagined in six different versions, with beads aligned vertically rather than horizontally as in the original.

Let yourself be seduced by the glamorous allure of “balance palace,” the modern asymmetry of “balance parallel,” or the technical prowess of “balance build” and its rows of suspended pearls.

The pop-up also featured a number of new partnerships, starting with five models of ASICS sneakers redesigned with an AKOYA “balance” or “danger” bead bar.

For EYEVAN, TASAKI has adorned a dozen eyewear models with iconic pearls. Elegant and eye-catching! There are also some original pieces inspired by the works Chainsaw Man, Nayuta of the Prophecy and Fire Punch, in a tribute to manga creator Tatsuki Fujimoto. For a touch of refinement for the ears, the jewelry house is offering headphones featuring an aligned line-up of “balance neo” and “danger fang” pearls.

A celebration of TASAKI’s creativity to be found only at Samaritaine!
