Momzi, gourmet donuts

January 30, 2023

As of January 25, Momzi will be on the first floor of Samaritaine next to Ernest. Founded by chef Raamin Samiyi, who has worked at Maison Rostang, the Lutetia and Pilgrim, this establishment puts donuts on the map and gives them a new lease on life!

In the hands of the pastry chef, these sweet and decadent treats become a true gastronomic jewel. Unlike most people's idea of a donut, Momzi's donuts have a delicate texture and are made with 100% natural ingredients sourced from renowned artisans.

Airy lightness and coconut oil

At Momzi, the donuts are not greasy but rather light and airy, thanks to the three-step fermentation of the natural sourdough brioche dough. After being fried in coconut oil, the donuts are carefully glazed by hand. No to an excess amount of sugar, yes to a real taste!

Raamin Samiyi offers four signature recipes and two seasonal ones, according to what inspires him. From yuzu, thyme and Calendula flowers to lavender and olive oil... The hardest part will be deciding which one to choose! Come enjoy the Momzi experience at Samaritaine where, between surprise and gustatory delight, all your senses will be stimulated.
