This holiday season in the heart of Paris, the magic of Christmas will come to life in a truly extraordinary way with a first-ever collaboration between La Samaritaine and Wow Groupe!

Thoiry Lumières Sauvages, known for its incredible light shows, will take up residence at Samaritaine from November 8, 2024 to January 5, 2025, transforming the space for a captivating Christmas.

A magical world of light

Since its creation, Thoiry Lumières Sauvages has dazzled over 700,000 visitors. Recognized as the largest festival of lights in the Paris region, it features an enthralling 2 km-long path, where visitors are transported into a dreamlike world as night falls.

An enchanted garden nestled inside Samaritaine

Thoiry’s radiant appeal extends all the way to Samaritaine this year, with the department store transformed into a quasi-mystical winter garden!

Upon arrival, you’ll be instantly captivated by a luminous fresco highlighting the historic façade of Place de la Monnaie. From there, you will be led over a multisensory footbridge, where a mystical light display creates a fantastical atmosphere.

Fairytale creatures lurk in every nook and cranny of the Boutique de Loulou, hidden in a cabinet of curiosities specially designed for the occasion! Children and adults alike will enjoy exploring this winter wonderland, and they can even snap the perfect photo in a dedicated Sauvage photo booth on the Rivoli side.

With this collaboration, Samaritaine is the starting point for an original, magical adventure featuring over 160 brightly lit lanterns right in the center of Paris.
