Do what the islanders do and leave the hustle and bustle of Tumon for a weekend of Boonie Stomping. Trek through boundless stretches of rainforest, complete with waterfalls, mountains, secret snorkeling spots and fascinating World War II sites to see the best side of the island—but don’t attempt it alone. Inexperienced “stompers” have been known to get lost in these lush surroundings. The Guam Department of Parks and Recreation organizes walks every Saturday, between 1 and 8 miles long, costing a mere 2 USD per person.
