Begin at Statue Square with the 1912 Old Supreme Court Building to the east. Spot City Hall and the Prince’s Building that give a glimpse to the late 1950s and early 1960s architectural style. At the Southern end, Sir Norman Foster’s iconic Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Building still impresses, flanked by the Old Bank of China Building and faithfully guarded by Japanese bullet-scarred bronze lions to the front. Within walking distance is leafy Battery Path leading to the red brick Former French Mission and St John’s Cathedral, the oldest Anglican Church in the Far East.
