Despite its close proximity to Seminyak, this airy pavilion feels like a private oasis hidden away from civilization. Helmed by a husband and wife team—French and Slovenian respectively—Sardine serves fresh seafood, and organic produce grown on the restaurant’s private farm. Ingredients are then lovingly prepared by Californian chef, Michael Shaheen. The setting is idyllic to say the least: enjoy a peaceful meal under the shade of a gingham parasol while taking in the tranquil vista of uninterrupted rice fields.
