A local fan favorite, The Sugar Palm Restaurant and Bar moved to a new spot in Siem Reap’s Wat Bo area last year. However, in its new home, you’ll find the same authentic Cambodian food by chef Kethana Dunnet, one of Siem Reap’s most recognized talents. The menu is all focused on home-style comfort foods that Dunnet learned to make from her mother and grandmother. Order dishes to share—the more, the better—such as a classic fish amok, served in a steamed banana leaf, or Prahok Khtis, a signature Cambodian dipping sauce served with fresh veggies.
