Occupying four 19th century tenements, including the titular pawn shop, the cream-hued heritage exterior of The Pawn stands out against its surroundings. Old-fashioned charm is also preserved through the interiors, though here the motif is British eclectic, giving a nod to the region's colonial past. In ‘The Living Room’ bar, mismatched leather chairs and other furnishings create an informal atmosphere, inviting patrons to kick back with their wonderful cocktails. The cocktails themselves are just as ecclectic with themes as diverse and unlikely as local spices and English gardens. Bar snacks rise above the usual trail mix with homemade crackling and spiced popcorn amongst the choices.
