Visit Burano, an archipelago of four islands in the Venetian lagoon that are linked by bridges. It’s one of the most colorful places in the world and is known for the bright colored houses. Each street resembles a rainbow with no two houses painted in the same color. Legend has it that the fishermen began painting their houses in different colors so that they could recognize them in the thick fog. While you’re in Burano, be sure to check out the Bepi’s house which is the most colorful house on the island.
