Formerly a Benedictine monastery, this cluster on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore is the home of the Cini's Foundation. Constituted in 1951 by Count Vittorio Cini, in memory of his son Giorgio, the foundation helped the restoration of the island and to this day it promotes education and culture. Discover the magnificent Reinessance architecture and Palladian artworks and test your sense of direction as you walk through the Borges' Labyrinth; a reconstruction of the original maze that architect Randoll Coate designed in Giorgio Cini's honor.
