MAY 14, 2018 - DFS Group, the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, and Swiss luxury fashion company Bally have celebrated the revival of Bally’s classic 1980s design by launching an exclusive DFS x Bally Galaxy sneaker for both men and women.
The reissue and exclusive release of one of Bally’s most iconic products drew a fashionable crowd of 150 to an urban, hip-hop themed event at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams on May 12. The second floor of the shoe hall was transformed into a retro homage to Bally – featuring a sneaker wall takeover by the maroon- and blush-hued sneakers, complete with screenings of a fashion film created especially for this collection.

Paris-based photographer Julien Boudet flew to Macau to capture the event, which featured a dazzling array of leading influencers and socialites, recording how guests expressed their own fashion flair through styling the exclusive suede and leather shoes. Highlight performances by Chinese hip-hop dance crew M.B.N brought the event to a crescendo, whilst guests also danced to the beats spun by Cubic’s in-house artist, DJ Copan Kasten.
The exclusive Bally Galaxy collection for both men and women is now available for sale at select T Galleria by DFS stores worldwide.
