JUNE 17, 2014, Hong Kong – DFS Group (DFS), the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, today announced that The Enchanted Journey – Jaquet Droz 275th Anniversary Exhibition has arrived T galleria Macau, Shoppes at Four Seasons. Launched in celebration of the prestigious brand’s 275th anniversary, this exhibition will showcase the illustrious heritage and antique pieces of Jaquet Droz.
Marking the first time that a showcase of this nature and scale has been hosted by T galleria, The Enchanted Journey – Jaquet Droz 275th Anniversary Exhibition features a series of exceptional timepieces, ranging from The Singing Bird Pocket Watch, an antique piece from circa 1785 featuring Louix XVI case with dazzling ruby and split pearl set bezels and an artfully painted pastoral scene on the watch case back, created especially for the Chinese market; to newest novelties such as the Petite Heure Minute Birds, a self-winding mechanical movement with an astounding power reserve of 68 hours.
To elevate the customer experience and showcase the exquisite watchmaking craftsmanship of Jaquet Droz, the exhibition will be coupled with enamelling and engraving workshops. The exhibition will run from June 7 to August 17 at T galleria Macau, Shoppes at Four Seasons.
In celebration of this special occasion, 15 timepieces have been specially added to the assortment of Jaquet Droz products available at T galleria Macau, Shoppes at Four Seasons. Members of LOYAL T, the world’s most extensive luxury travel retail awards programme by DFS, will also enjoy an exclusive preview of the exhibition.
