SEPTEMBER 30, 2013 - DFS Group (DFS), the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, has announced the opening of a new House of Guerlain counter at the DFS Galleria Macao within The Shoppes at Four Seasons, making it the brand’s largest travel retail presence in Asia. DFS is the first travel retailer to offer this luxury line of fragrances outside of France.

DFS’ introduction of the House of Guerlain’s luxurious Exclusive Fragrances collection to travel retail represents the Group’s continued dedication to meeting the sophisticated needs of world travelers. The new counter offers a comprehensive selection of over 50 fragrances including 23 Exclusive Fragrances. They include some of the rarest and most iconic perfumes from the House’s Exclusive Fragrance collection, such as “Les Elixirs Charnels”, “Art et La Matiere,” “Voyage Olfactifs,” “Les Parisiennes,” “Eau de Lit,” “Les Parfums d’Intérieur,” and “Arsene Lupin Dandy & Voyou”. On top of the Exclusive Fragrances consultation area, Guerlain and DFS will provide a better customer experience through an expanded skincare area, including two skincare bars, the luxurious exclusive Orchidee Imperiale bar and two consultations tables. The new counter elevates the premium service quality available to customers when combined with Guerlain’s pre-existing skincare, makeup and fragrances consultation tables.

Additionally, eighteen women’s and five men’s perfumes can be ordered in Guerlain’s iconic “bee” bottles. The “bee” bottles were designed in 1853 as a tribute to the Empress Eugenie de Montijo, wife of Napoleon III. Each bottle is decorated with 69 bees, which can be individually hand painted in fine gold. Customers can also choose to personalize their bottles with an engraving of their initials. As part of DFS’ long-standing commitment to providing customers with exceptional shopping experiences, the Group has employed a Guerlain-trained fragrance specialist to personally assist customers with their choices.
