NOVEMBER 26, 2018 - DFS Group kicked off its annual Gifting campaign, themed “Give Joy” in enchanting style on November 24 at T Galleria by DFS, Okinawa, Japan. The world’s leading luxury retailer celebrated the spirit of the festive season and the gift of giving by showcasing DFS’ first ever ‘Personalization Gift Shop’ concept, where an assortment of specially curated luxury gifts can be personalized alongside an array of dedicated brand pop-ups, branded personalization stations and personalization services.
The evening kicked off with Japanese celebrity Sumire joining DFS Group executive Nicolas Villeger, Managing Director Japan and Korea and Garlie Ip, Regional Brand Director, Jo Malone London switching on the spectacular lights on a towering Jo Malone London Christmas tree. The lighting ceremony was followed by a mesmerizing performance from a local gospel choir.
Over 300 guests, VIP customers and international media from Japan and China including Hong Kong and Macau were in attendance. T Galleria by DFS, Okinawa, Japan was transformed into a gifting wonderland complete with a DJ, as guests tried the unique personalization services - monogramming leather goods, and adorning t-shirts and tote bags with Foxy’s six DFS exclusive emoji iron-on patches.* Guests also enjoyed gifting-themed entertainment including a life-size advent calendar overflowing with holiday treasures, a special visit from Santa Claus and a “candygram” corner for guests to pick and mix delightful sweet treats.
