FEBRUARY 25, 2014 – The Masters of Fragrances exhibition presented at Manarat Al Saadiyat Gallery (The Place of Enlightenment) on April 10, 2014 is an unprecedented showcase of fine, one-of-a-kind and world-exclusive fragrances. This inaugural fragrance gala launches the DFS 2014 Masters Series of global events, which include Masters of Wines and Spirits in Singapore and Masters of Time in Macau.
Masters of Fragrances displays some of the most coveted and celebrated creations from the world’s legendary fragrance Maisons and boutique artisan brands. A selection of 26 distinctive fragrances from 22 renowned brands will create a collection of extraordinary refinement.
With a culture and history steeped in the traditions of rich and exotic perfumes, Abu Dhabi makes a fascinating backdrop for these exceptional fragrances. Layering the legend of Arabian perfumery with the modern expressions of scent, Masters of Fragrances is both a captivating destination and a point of departure in the alluring world of artisan fragrance.

Dramatically displayed in a contemporary gallery setting are one-of-a-kind and exclusive fragrances from the world's most iconic brands including Dior, Guerlain, Amouage, Bvlgari, Salvatore Ferragamo and more.
The Masters of Fragrances exhibit will unfold in two parts: A private invitation-only gala event on April 10 at the Manarat Al Saadiyat Gallery—a modern art and culture center where the fragrances will take center stage as attendees explore the world of exclusive perfumes and engage with the experts from distinguished brands. Following the gala event, Masters of Fragrances will be transferred to Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal 1 where it will reside until June 12, 2014, offering world travelers the opportunity to enjoy the creative presentation and shop the exclusive collection.

Special guests at Masters of Fragrances include three masters within their fields, who will share their unique perspectives on the art of fragrance:
- Michael Edwards: Author of the renowned Fragrances of the World, and an award-winning global authority on fragrance, will conduct scent workshops inviting the gala attendees to “develop their nose”
- Tala Samman: Dubai-based lifestyle editor, award-winning blogger and a leading authority on fashion, beauty and style
- Mark Colle: Antwerp-based international florist known for his innovative artistry within the fashion world, will be creating an original installation at the gala event
