SEPTEMBER 5, 2014, Hong Kong - DFS Group (DFS), the world’s leading luxury travel retailer gathered together today with influential beauty and travel experts by kicking off its largest beauty festival - First Class Beauty by DFS - an indulgent offering of beauty experiences, events and promotions from 5th to the 21st of September with over 50 beauty brands in 13 destinations.

To celebrate the launch of First Class Beauty, DFS hosted members of the press to a showcase with the First Class Beauty Panel. The panel brings together a diverse mix of international beauty experts to push the boundaries in the world of beauty, and includes three prominent travel and beauty experts: style icon Nicole Warne (of popular fashion and lifestyle blog, Gary Pepper Girl), Miss Universe Japan Miyako Miyazaki and celebrity makeup artist Perry Liu.
Working together with DFS beauty experts, such as Rowena Marvel, Merchandise Manager of Color & Trend Cosmetics of DFS Group, the First Class Beauty Panel led a discussion on beauty and travel. The discussion topics ranged widely from each individual’s beauty essentials, what to pack inflight, and mile-high beauty regimes to a forecast of upcoming skincare and cosmetics trends. From the discussion, Nicole Warne, Perry Liu and Miyako Miyazaki interpreted the key beauty trends for the Fall/Winter 2014 season, and presented three looks inspired by the culture, people and environment of three iconic destinations: Sydney, Hong Kong and Hawaii.
“I love drawing beauty and fashion inspiration from what I see at the international fashion weeks around the world, so it was such a pleasure to share my favourite beauty, style and travel insights with everyone during the First Class Beauty by DFS event.” said Nicole Warne.

As part of the panel at First Class Beauty by DFS it was such an honour to celebrate beauty and I believe that every woman is beautiful in her own special way and deserves to look and feel good,” said Miyako Miyazaki.

Participating locations include 18 DFS airports and downtown Gallerias in 13 destinations: Abu Dhabi, Auckland, Bali, Guam, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Los Angeles, Macau, Okinawa, Saipan, Singapore and Sydney.
Exciting elements include key workshops with beauty bloggers in Hong Kong, a champagne party with live DJ in Hawaii, and other sensational experiences such as makeovers, nail art designs, and massages in Macau, Okinawa, Guam and Sydney.
