NOVEMBER 4, 2013, Singapore – This November, DFS Group (DFS), the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, will host the exclusive collection of its third annual Masters of Wines & Spirits exhibition in Singapore from November 16 to 17. The most prestigious retail event of its kind in Asia, Masters of Wines & Spirits will showcase DFS’ curated selection of the world’s finest wines and spirits, bringing together both masterpieces and the Masters who made them, in a setting inspired by the singular experience of pairing exquisite drinks with fine cuisine and good company.

Built from an unprecedented selection of exclusive wines and spirits, the Masters of Wines & Spirits collection includes 79 rare and limited-edition products from 49 prestigious brands. Notable selections this year include an exclusive pair of Chabot Vintages 1918 and 1928 of Armagnac, the Ballantine’s 2013 Championship Blend of blended Scottish Whiskey, the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Collection 1911 of champagne and the 40 Years of Chateau Margaux collection of red wines. Each of these exceptional offerings has been made possible only by DFS’ long-standing partnerships with and global travel retail leadership amongst the world’s most storied and in-demand wines and spirits brands.

This year, Masters of Wines & Spirits will demonstrate DFS’ distinct approach to curating for the wines and spirits category, as well as its perspective on lifestyles it inspires. On November 16, invited guests will enjoy an exclusive exhibition opening at the Singapore National Art Museum. Guests will meet other connoisseurs, brand ambassadors, special guests, and many of the masters behind the products themselves.

Following the grand unveiling, a selection of the world’s finest wines and spirits will be showcased inside the DFS wines & spirits stores throughout Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Changi Airport. Featured for over three months, the pop-up showcase will enable world travellers to discover for themselves the world’s finest wines and spirits.

Masters of Wines & Spirits in Singapore is the third annual run of the exhibition and marks the inauguration of DFS’ 2013 Masters Collection, a signature DFS program of exhibitions that also includes the highly-celebrated “Masters of Time” this December. The height of DFS’ leadership in curating across the four pillars of luxury, the Masters Collection showcases the Group’s unique perspective in defining the best of the best across product and lifestyle throughout the world of luxury.
