MARCH 31, 2015, HONG KONG – T Galleria by DFS, the Traveler’s Luxury Department Store, launches exclusive pre-order access for the new Clé de Cartier watch collection. This launch marks the first global partnership between T Galleria by DFS and Cartier, to launch the watchmaker’s newest signature design, one of its most significant watch collections since the Ballon Bleu in 2006.
First introduced at SIHH 2015, the Clé de Cartier collection follows Cartier’s heritage of innovation, and is inspired by contemporary architecture. The watch features a novel case shape that incorporates a perfect circle within an arched profile, a guillauché dial with blue roman numerals, and automatic movements including the new 1847 MC movement for the 35mm and 40m. Its name comes from its signature crown shape, which resembles a key, or “clé” in French.
T Galleria by DFS customers will be able to reserve Clé de Cartier watches from the jewelry and gold collections, ahead of their worldwide release on April 18, through appointment-only private viewings.
Pre-order access will be available at ten T Galleria by DFS stores around the world, including Hawaii, Hong Kong and Macau. Created for the traveler, T Galleria by DFS offers a curated collection of fine watches and sought-after timepieces from the world’s leading luxury watchmakers. Located in iconic destinations, each downtown store provides a modern and inviting setting for collectors to discover the latest creations from the watch world.
