Samaritaine’s selection of culinary delights embraces the theme, with new gourmet pop-ups and recipes created especially for the occasion.
Voyage to Italie
From now until February 23, Voyage’s menu will offer a taste of Italy, with a mix of specialties from both countries! For starters, you can choose between a vegetable focaccia and a pâté en croûte with pickles, followed by a parmesan risotto with seasonal vegetables that will transport your palate to Venice. Meanwhile, roast cod with seaweed butter, sweet potato puree and hazelnut slivers captures the very essence of French cuisine. What’s for dessert? Whether you opt for the tiramisu or the vanilla millefeuille, your heart will swoon.
Traditional recipes from Il Grano
Family-run restaurant Il Grano has taken over a space at Samaritaine to offer its delectably authentic Italian dishes. Vegetarian lasagna, pinsa romana, burrata or minestrone will have your taste buds singing! Fancy becoming a gnocchi chef? Il Grano is offering a workshop at Voyage on March 17, registration required (https://bookings.zenchef.com/results?rid=364073&pid=1001).
Don’t forget to read our newsletter, where you’ll discover the restaurant’s secret tiramisu recipe. Mamma Mia!

Pasticceria Simona: calling all sweet tooths!
Another destination to make its debut at the department store this season is the highly addictive Pasticceria Simona! The shop offers only the most delicious and iconic Italian pastries. With sweet names like Cannolo, Pasticciotto Leccese, Zeppole di San Giuseppe, Torta Caprese or Pastiera Napoletana, they’ll be hard (if not impossible) to resist. Their specialty desserts? Il Maritozzo con la panna, a bun filled with whipped cream, and Il Baiocco, the famous gourmet cookie.
Paris-Venice sips at Zinc
To celebrate the Paris-Venice connection, Zinc invites you on an express round trip between the two cities via custom-designed drinks that evoke both France and Italy! The “Mocaccino aller Paris Venise” combines coffee roasted in the heart of Paris with a purely Italian blend of chocolate, topped with a sprinkling of Piedmont hazelnuts. Enticing, isn’t it? Meanwhile, the “Café Spritz retour Paris Venise” is an alcohol-free interpretation of the famous Venetian cocktail, featuring spritz syrup with Ethiopian Guji cold brew and 100% French sparkling tonic.
This season, Samaritaine offers an impressive array of both exotic and more traditional culinary delights!
