Nestled in the hills on the Northwest side of the Stags Leap District, Silverado Vineyards has become an iconic estate and home to some of Napa Valley's most-recognized wines for almost forty years. Located east of Napa in Coombsville, Mt. George Vineyard is the site of one of the first grape plantings in the valley in the 19th century. It climbs the western slopes of an ancient volcano whose name the vineyard bears. GEO - Greek for "Earth" and short for "George" - represents the highest expression of single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Mt. George Vineyard.

Tasting Notes: The 2016 Silverado GEO Cabernet Sauvignon offers purple floral aromas of violet, lilac and lavender, along with sweet fruit, hints of clove and bittersweet chocolate. Full-bodied, with a steady richness and structured tannins. Flavors of muddled black cherry, anise and plum, notes of dried thyme, cedar and crushed rock.
